I wrote this last night.

I firmly believe that I cursed Eurovision.

I wanted either Finland or Moldova (being a very rocky-musicky-typie-thing) to win, and said "Don't let Serbia's nerd or Ukraine's... thing! win!" and... Serbia came first, and Ukraine came second.

Goddamnit...


....Finland were great hosts though. That interval act! WOW! And I didn't think it was possible to mosh whilst playing the cello...

Summary: 
Of story: There has always been some kind of strange mutual attraction between Gene Hunt and Sam Tyler. It just chooses to manifest itself right when everything is going well for Sam- right in the middle of his relationship with Annie.
Of chapter: Gene has never been estactic about his working environment; only less so now, because he has to watch the fluttering eyelashes and gooey love of Sam and Annie. He finds himself calling Sam into his office just to distract Sam from Annie momentarily. Sam finds it increasingly suspicious; and also finds himself thinking about Gene when he should be thinking about Annie.
